A post-conference trip to the ski resort of Marilleva/Madonna di Campiglio will be organised on Saturday 26 February. We will reach Marilleva with the Trento-Malè train, which directly connects Trento with the ski resort. Ski equipment can be rented in Marilleva. Trento and its surroundings offer the chance for plenty of activities also for non-skiers. The town itself is a very beautiful medioeval city, which is definitely worth visiting. Art and history can also be appreciated in Rovereto (just 15 minutes by train from Trento) and Bolzano (about 40 minutes by train). Verona is reachable in one hour, Venice and Bologna in about three hours. Besides the main tourist destinations, Trentino offers to its visitors many beautiful castles, churches, mountain refuges and villages that preserve ancient atmospheres, as well as numerous lakes, valleys and mountains.
