Submission Guidelines
Technical Full Paper Submission Instructions
Tridentcom 2005 proceedings will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press. Authors are invited to submit full papers of up to 10 pages, including references, figures and tables, formatted according to the IEEE 8.5" x 11" proceedings format. For papers describing the testbed demos presented at the conference, the limit is 2 pages. All relevant manuscript style files can be found at the IEEE CS ftp site. All submissions should be submitted electronically in Postscript format through the EDAS web site. Adobe PDF format is also accepted, provided that the document is generated according to the guidelines given below.
Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere can be submitted.
All paper submissions will be carefully reviewed by experts and returned to the author(s) with comments to ensure the high quality of the accepted papers. The authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented at the conference. At least one author of each accepted paper must be registered for the conference in order for that paper to appear in the proceedings and to be scheduled for presentation.

Submission Instructions Concerning PDF Documents
IEEE CS press will, and often do, accept PDF files. CS press prefers receiving Postscript files whenever possible since it is still easier for them to convert Postscript to PDF files that meet both their print and electronic production needs than to verify PDF files have been correctly prepared by authors. At a minimum, basic PDF distiller setting MUST be changed so PDF files are: optimized, set to Acrobat 4.0 compatibility, all graphics are set to at least 300 dpi resolution, ALL fonts are embeddable, postscript fonts, ALL fonts are embedded and subset, postscript settings DO NOT override distiller settings and page size is 612.0 x 792.0 points (8.5" x 11"). Authors should check their final PDF files before submission to verify that all fonts have been properly embedded and subset. Some font manufacturers now flag their fonts to not embed. These fonts should be avoided. An Adobe Acrobat Distiller JobOptions file set up to meet these minimum IEEE specifications is available upon request. Authors may also adjust this JobOptions file to produce higher resolution graphics if so desired. The complete IEEE PDF specification document can be found following this link.
