A Message from the General Chair
Dear Participant,
TridentCom has been running for four years now and as General Chair, I'd like to welcome you. For this conference, we are in Innsbruck, Austria, where I will be hosting this seminal international conference on testbeds and research infrastructures for the development of networks & communities.
This year sees TridentCom firmly established in the discipline of "Experimental Testbeds towards the Future Internet". This is a hot research topic from US, EU and Asian initiatives. In this regard, we have some notable keynote speakers from the EU FIRE office in Dr. Max Lamke and Dr. Chip Elliot from the GENI project office (US).
The packed technical programme will report on experiences, requirements, needs, and visions for the future establishment of such experimental infrastructures. It showcases experimental activities, such as testing, verification, integration, measurement, and deployment of wireline and wireless test beds, which are pivotal to achieving next generation communication infrastructures.
We have combined with this programme the WEEDEV workshop, a set of tutorials, demonstrations and a couple of special sessions which I am sure you will enjoy.
